So, Stockholm. Well, it has been a while since the last blog. The problem was that I couldn't find a proper computer to upload photos on. That aside, lots has happened since. Three countries of happenings. But, I must go back to Stockholm which is where we stayed after Copenhagen. Sweden was not to bad... although I was disappointed with the lack of Swedish Design and beautiful people (I think they were vacationing in Greece). The city was pretty stunning though, and a trip to the Modern Art Museum was the cats pajamas (the actually had cats pajamas on display there). So enjoy!

Keith, this is for you.

Some guys we met, and a tour of the Nobel-City Hall site.

Color effect. You get me every time!

This girl gets it.

I typically am.

Coolest store ever. An Urban Outfitters store that was retro-fitted into an old theater in Stockholm.

Communism is dead amigo. But, I guess all you hippies can keep trying.

Yeah... (Monika thought that I didn't need to make comments on all my photos like the one I made here. But she was wrong). Yeah...

Man Pony.

Matt... why do you have to try to be so cool here in Scandinavia. Chill out with the strut!

Interesting... typically you don't want to use your real name when you do this sort of thing. But cool none the less.

Ok, finally some decent Swedish Design. Very functional.

This is a sign. Thoughts? I like it!

Sick Prints.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... proud ehhhhhhhhhh!

I love it. Marcel Duchamp you kill me! Wow.

The Hall.

Matthew Stobart goes Modern Art.

There is a series of these pieces that are all mind blowing.

The Ketchup Sandwich... I told you Andrew, that if you didn't do it right away some one would steal your idea. You better get a move on your sculpture of Ralph Klein made out of Poutine.

Been there. Done that (and Monika, I know the difference between their and there. Sometimes I rush a little when I type. Their is no problem with doing this).

Yes!

I had a conversation with the artist who conceived of this piece and you would be quite surprised to know what it means...

This is a Black Box from a plane. I always wondered what they looked like.

I bought it. I couldn't help myself.

These were professional museum-goers. They brought their own seats and would contemplate each piece for long durations of time.

This is my piece that I contributed to the museum. It is titled "Museum Patrons." It is a part of a larger exhibition I putting on display titled, "Hello, I am a Tourist, can I take a Picture!"
Anyways, that's Modern art... I can't wait for the Post Modern Art Museum in Paris.

Guess who now has matching t-shirts!

Hey, these guys are having Fun!

Matt looking at a map... looks like the human GPS is lost.

I bet you didn't think you would see this cityscape again so soon!

When we first got to Stockholm everyone was wearing Iron Maiden t-shirts and I thought that this was the new style in Sweden (seriously), and as such, contemplated purchasing one. However, there was an Iron Maiden concert in town and my dreams of owning heavy metal paraphinlia were dashed!

This poster is too cool...
